A New Project and Coming Home

Something that consumes my life, isn’t a sexy lifestyle choice, and gives me more passion than anything I have ever experienced is being a mom – a single mom to be exact.  I’m not here to glamorize the lifestyle of doing it all on your own, but it’s a discussion worth having with the  7 + million single mothers the US. The facts indicate that we are a huge part of the population. Yes, of course, most of us want to find love and that magical family unit.  Many of us started with that and we had to pivot because of something that was irreparable in our relationships.

My story and level of success is yet to be determined but I believe that I’ve built somewhat of a desirable life for most women in my situation.  A story of transformation, vulnerability, and empowerment.  I want to share the way I think about motherhood and how I put that into practice everyday.  The book is developing.  What we aspire to, how we embrace authenticity, tiny time investments in ourself, developing different supportive social circles, designing our nest, releasing hidden scripts, and simple moments to ritual are some of the topics.

Publishing feels daunting.  I’ve come back home to my little corner of the internet to share and get back in touch with my community. I started this site as a creative platform to express ideas and emotions during a time of change and healing.  It was my intention to create something that I would always be proud to say that this is me, no matter what age or professional work I was doing at the time.

It’s been a little while, but I’m hopeful to engage more in new ways with all of you in the near future!

Discover your soft place of grace, where seeds of peace and balance stay warm before sprouting. Find your wild spirit of resilience, like a rock climber, one step at a time, holding on for dear life.  Find your tribe that cushions your fall.

You are your own savior and your journey is your superpower.  Envision imperfect perfection. Stay dedicated to hope and all things love.  Your legacy will be bright and abundant.

Life has a funny way of humbling us.  We are a product of our decisions and sometimes the plan doesn’t come together as magically as expected. We may stumble, dust ourselves off, and pivot. Figure out how to own the woman you are supposed to be and let your ego live in a place of self-discovery and mastery.
